End of 2019 Recap

Greetings!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas spent with loved ones.

As we wrap up on 2019, I wanted to send an end-of-the-year note to everyone to give some praise reports!

We definitely just had our best year ever at Hidden Hook Ministries as we accomplished some really big goals.

It was by far the busiest year I’ve ever had, but the best year I’ve ever experienced!

Because of God’s faithfulness and people’s generosity I am going to share a few things that happened this year.

I was able to upgrade my vehicle by 18 years and 100,000 miles. I am now driving the best vehicle I’ve ever personally owned and let me tell you it makes a tremendous difference.

We are launching the Hidden Hook podcast on January 31st. I am now traveling the country to collect stories from people to use for the weekly podcast.

In a nutshell, the concept for my podcast is to share the extraordinary stories that I hear from people on the road. Ordinary people with extraordinary stories. Like with everything else we do, the number 1 goal of this podcast is to win people to Christ and have those who know Christ have confidence to live out their Jesus story.

I have also developed an internship program. Beginning this summer I will have a young minister traveling with me who may be interested in evangelism. I really believe it is important that we invest and develop future generations to be ready to some day take our place.

All these things were made possible by your generosity, especially those that were able to attend and support the banquet back in August. The anniversary dinner was truly a game changer.

It is a very conservative estimate that we saw over 1,000 people come to Jesus Christ this year.

I learned a valuable lesson in 2019 to set some goals that I thought would be really hard to achieve. I am excited to say that we surpassed every goal!

DL Moody once said “if God is your partner make your plans BIG!

That being said I have some very lofty goals for this year!

My first goal for 2020 I want to share with you in confidence. In January I will be on an extended fast for the entire month. I will only be eating one meal a day and fasting the other two not for health reasons, but for spiritual reasons.  The last 10 days of January will be a complete fast dedicated to prayer.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on an extended fast I share this with you not to brag, but as my prayer support please be praying for me during this month.

Please pray for my parents as they had an extremely difficult year in just about every way possible. Please pray that their year is better and that their health improves.

Please pray for my family that we are in The Lord’s will and that we exercise the courage and wisdom it takes to obey God’s will.

Please pray for safe travels.

I love you guys so much! The grassroots team is vital and I could not do any of this without you.
